The Community Leasing Associate plays a critical role in creating exceptional living experiences for prospective and current residents. This position is responsible for driving leasing performance, delivering outstanding customer service, and supporting operational and marketing initiatives to ensure community success. The role reports directly to the Community Manager and serves as the first point of contact for residents and prospects, representing the Fairfield brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) Customer Service & SalesServe as the first point of contact for prospective residents, current residents, vendors, and Fairfield associates.
Drive the lease closing process by showcasing community features and amenities.
Determine customer needs and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.
Deliver unmatched service to exceed resident expectations and maintain retention.
Meet sales goals, leasing ratios, and customer satisfaction milestones.
Manage lease files and maintain accurate paperwork and computer systems.
Utilize Yardi accounting software to manage leasing processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing regulations.
Verifies application information, gathers and follows up on all verification of income as required for LIHTC and HUD programs.
Complete marketing and advertising tasks, including updating social media platforms.
Maintain knowledge of local market conditions and shop competitive properties.
Assist in implementing community outreach and promotional activities.
Maintain professional verbal and written communication with residents and prospects.
Build and nurture relationships to foster resident satisfaction and loyalty.
Represent Fairfields brand values in all interactions.
Assist with reporting, scheduling, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Support the Community Manager in achieving operational objectives.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid drivers license may be required.
Minimum of one year experience in customer service, sales, or retail required.
Leasing or real estate experience preferred.
Knowledge of low income Housing tax credit (LIHTC) preferred
Experience using Yardi or similar property management software a plus.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
