Operation: Red Dot is a veteran-owned real estate and property management company serving the JBLM community and surrounding areas. We manage a growing portfolio of residential homes and are looking for a professional, organized, and customer-focused Leasing Agent to support our property management operations.
This role is built for someone who can communicate clearly, represent the company well in the field, support rental property showings, complete inspections, and help keep leasing and tenant-related workflows moving with accuracy and professionalism.
This position is not intended to be a fully administrative desk role. A majority of routine administrative processing and repetitive backend tasks will be supported separately through an administrative position. The Leasing Agent role is focused on property-level execution, applicant and tenant communication, showings, inspections, document delivery, and field support.
What Youll Be Responsible ForConducting scheduled rental property tours and open houses for available homes
Presenting rental properties professionally and answering general leasing questions
Communicating with prospective applicants, approved applicants, and current tenants
Supporting move-in coordination and completing move-in inspections before tenant occupancy
Documenting property condition with clear notes, photos, and required inspection forms
Assisting with lease renewal inspections and renewal-related documentation
Delivering, posting, mailing, or coordinating required notices, letters, and property management documents
Reporting visible maintenance concerns, cleanliness issues, missing items, or property readiness concerns
Supporting the Senior Property Manager with assigned field, leasing, tenant, owner, inspection, and documentation tasks
Keeping internal team members updated on task status, field findings, and next steps
Escalating questions or issues outside the scope of the role to the appropriate team member
What Success Looks LikeYou communicate clearly, professionally, and quickly with applicants, tenants, and internal team members
You represent Operation: Red Dot well during property tours, inspections, and tenant interactions
Your inspection notes, photos, and documentation are accurate, organized, and useful
You can manage assigned showings, inspections, and field tasks without needing constant direction
You identify property concerns early and report them before they become bigger issues
You understand when to answer questions directly and when to route them to the appropriate team member
You help keep leasing, move-in, renewal, and documentation timelines moving forward
You are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field
RequirementsStrong attention to detail and follow-through
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Comfort completing local fieldwork, property visits, inspections, and showings
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for showings or open houses
Basic understanding of real estate, leasing, property management, or rental housing
Ability to document property conditions clearly with photos, notes, and required forms
Ability to escalate concerns appropriately when issues fall outside the scope of the role
Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally as needed
Preferred / Bonus SkillsPrior experience in leasing, property management, real estate, or housing services
Experience conducting property showings or open houses
Experience completing property inspections or condition reports
Familiarity with AppFolio or similar property management software
Real estate license, though not required
Military, military spouse, or logistics background
Strong comfort level working with applicants, tenants, owners, and internal teams
Compensation & Benefits$21$24/hr DOE
