Site Acquisition Manager Jobs in Texas

A Site Acquisition Manager in the real estate industry is responsible for locating, researching, and acquiring new sites for development. This role involves negotiating with property owners, ensuring compliance with zoning laws, and working with architects and construction crews to ensure site suitability. A Site Acquisition Manager also oversees all stages of the acquisition process, from initial site identification through to final purchase. They often need to work closely with legal teams to ensure all transactions are conducted with complete legality.

Important skills for a Site Acquisition Manager include excellent negotiation tactics, attention to detail, a strong understanding of real estate law and planning regulations, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Relevant certifications may include Real Estate Broker or Agent licenses, or a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Prior to becoming a Site Acquisition Manager, a person might have roles such as Real Estate Agent, Property Manager, or Leasing Consultant, gaining valuable industry experience and knowledge of property transactions and negotiations.
