Leasing Analyst Jobs in New York

A Leasing Analyst in the real estate industry is responsible for analyzing leasing data and creating detailed reports to support leasing decisions. Before becoming a Leasing Analyst, a person may have roles such as Leasing Consultant, Property Management Assistant, or Real Estate Analyst. These positions provide a foundation in real estate principles and financial analysis, which is crucial for a Leasing Analyst role. In terms of qualifications, a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field is often required. Certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) can be advantageous. Leasing Analysts should also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in real estate software.
