NOW HIRING: Apartment Maintenance Supervisor - Topeka Hands-on. HVAC-savvy. Ready to lead.
PAY: $27-29 an hour + quarterly bonuses up to $1000 a quarter
LOCATION: Crown Colony Apartments (220 apartments)
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8-5PM
On-call once every 3 weeks ($100 bonus every week you're on-call plus a minimum 1.5 hours for an emergency)

What We Offer:
$27-29 an hour
$1,000 sign-on bonus paid after 90 days of employment
Annual reviews with the opportunity for a raise every year up to 5%
Quarterly maintenance bonus structure, up to $1,000
On-Call Bonus, $100 a week and minimum 1.5 hours for any emergency you handle
401k annual match 3%

Paid Time Off, 1st Year = 80 Hours, 2-4 Years = 120 Hours, 5+ Years = 160 Hours

Longevity benefit: Every 5th year choose a 3 week paid sabbatical vacation or a 2 week bonus check
What We Need:
Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
Working hand in hand with the Property Manager on a monthly budget review
Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
Exterior structural maintenance as needed
Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
Snow removal (when applicable)
Pool maintenance (where applicable)
Assist in capital projects including but not limited to rehab and/or major repairs
Assist in managing 3rd party vendors including gathering 3 bids for projects
What You Need:
2+ years' experience in maintenance, including 2+ years in multi-family housing
2+ years' HVAC experience and EPA Certification required
Experience managing/supervising 2+ employees
Drywalling including painting and carpentry
Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe
Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
Water heater knowledge both electric and gas
Based in Kansas City, Manhattan, or Lawrence and ready to lead in Topeka? We'd love to hear from you!
