PRIME AE Group, Inc. seeks a Financial Analyst in Columbus, OH. This position is elgible for the employee referral program.
Job Duties:
Facilitate month-end closings, preparing journal entries for expense accruals and asset purchases; Perform reconciliations of GL accounts, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective measures; Review P&L accounts, analyzing variances to ensure financial accuracy; Participate in the budgeting process, providing detailed analysis and projections; Develop financial forecasts and identify trends to inform senior management; Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor expenditures; Oversee the AP process, including vendor creation, invoice processing, payment execution, and employee expense review; Maintain relationships with vendors and address payment discrepancies; Oversee cash application processes, ensuring accurate and timely posting of cash receipts and payments; Reconcile cash accounts, resolving discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy; Assist auditors in preparing required items for financial statements and bank audits; Reconcile accounts and apply new lease accounting standards accurately; Conduct research on tax legislation and file quarterly filings; Prepare and file regulatory forms, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines; and Collaborate with HR, IT, and engineering teams to manage financing leases for various assets.
Manages 1 employee. Telecommuting permitted.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or in a related field plus 2.5 years of experience in an accounting/finance related occupation.
Position requires 2.5 years of experience with the following:
Financial Modeling;
Accounting;
Financial Reporting;
Budgeting and Forecasting;
Variance Analysis;
Excel.
