The Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Project Designer with experience in New York City residential renovation. This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Upper East Side office. Kitchen and bath experience is a plus, but we are equally interested in candidates with broader interior renovation backgrounds who understand how a project moves from design concept through construction. We are not looking for someone who already knows everything we are looking for someone with a strong foundation who is eager to grow within a firm that does serious, high-profile work.

What Youll Do

Assist in the design and documentation of full-scale luxury residential renovation projects
Produce and manage working drawings and design documents in AutoCAD
Support material selections, finish specifications, and vendor coordination
Assist with purchasing workflows tracking orders, managing lead times, coordinating with suppliers and trade vendors
Participate in client meetings and site visits as needed
Help keep multiple active projects organized and on schedule

What Were Looking For

25 years of experience in NYC residential interior design or renovation
Proficiency in AutoCAD required
Experience with or strong interest in the purchasing and procurement side of a project tracking specs, managing orders, coordinating with vendors
A sharp eye for detail and a genuine passion for high-end residential interiors
Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field preferred

Compensation

$50,000$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Full-time position. Not remote.
