Operations Manager - VADS

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Lead and manage the daily VAS/VAD operation to ensure all customer requirements are executed accurately, efficiently, and within established service level agreements.
• Plan and oversee staffing, scheduling, labor allocation, and workload distribution to support operational demands while maintaining productivity and cost efficiency.
• Drive operational performance and profitability through effective labor management, resource utilization, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Partner with warehouse operations, transportation, customer service, and leadership teams to ensure alignment, communication, and seamless execution of customer requirements.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity metrics, and service levels, taking proactive action to address performance gaps and improve operational results.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to supervisors and associates while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, quality, and customer service excellence.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve operational challenges, service disruptions, and customer escalations in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, reporting compliance, and adherence to customer-specific SOPs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on enhancing operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.
• Maintain a safe working environment by promoting and enforcing all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Standing/Walking 75% of the time
• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance
• Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Ability to analyze and resolve complex warehouse operational issues.
• Ability to be a team-player and work effectively with senior-level staff.
• Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance.
• Proficient at MS Office
• Ability to pay attention to detail and be highly organized.
• Ability to handle warehouse accounting and book-keeping.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory control system
• Working knowledge of safety and security procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 5 or more years of experience with warehouse work.
• 3 or more years of supervisory or management experience

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
