Our client, the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operational excellence of the paper mill. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to maintenance management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: International Falls, Minnesota

Pay Range: $86,000 - $140,000

What's the Job?

  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute maintenance work in a process area to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on safety, quality, and productivity within the maintenance team.
  • Maintain equipment availability, control costs, and uphold housekeeping standards in the work area.
  • Supervise hourly craft personnel and manage contract services to meet operational goals.
  • Establish and utilize the asset management system to optimize maintenance activities.

What's Needed?

  • Experience in a craft or maintenance-related position, ideally within manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • High safety awareness, strong communication, and excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Solid technical and maintenance skills with a working knowledge of PC applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Results-oriented mindset with knowledge of asset management and proactive maintenance techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills or experience leading a team, with an understanding of open communication and teamwork.
