Senior Property Manager - Commercial Real Estate
Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a Northern California portfolio of approximately 6 million square feet, primarily industrial properties. This h role is based in Pleasanton with some travel required across the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial/industrial property management, financial reporting, and tenant relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants. Address tenant needs promptly and conducts regular property inspections.
- Leasing Support: Assist with lease documentation, track expirations and renewals, and manage move-ins/move-outs.
- Construction Management: Oversee tenant improvements and capital projects, including bidding, contractor coordination, and project completion.
- Financial Management: Collaborate with accounting teams on monthly reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, CAM reconciliations, and general ledger oversight.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendor contracts, ensure compliance, and oversee service quality in collaboration with building engineers.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of property administrators and managers. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Acquisitions/Dispositions: Support due diligence, budgeting, and onboarding/offboarding processes for property transactions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years (PM) or 10+ years (SRPM) of experience in commercial/industrial property management.
- Strong knowledge of Yardi Voyager and accrual-based accounting.
- Experience with institutional clients and high compliance standards.
- California Real Estate License required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
