A multi-unit restaurant company is looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across all locations. This role is responsible for keeping equipment running, managing vendors, controlling repair costs, and supporting new restaurant openings. The position requires regular travel to locations and strong follow-through on both field and administrative responsibilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee preventative and reactive maintenance across all restaurant locations
Travel up to 40% to conduct site visits and support operational needs
Manage and direct third-party service vendors
Evaluate equipment condition and ensure timely repairs
Maintain accurate equipment records and service documentation
Identify recurring issues and implement solutions to reduce downtime
Administer the companys maintenance management system
Manage repair budgets and monitor maintenance spend
Support capital planning and equipment replacement strategy
Assist with new restaurant openings, including equipment coordination
Maintain facilities documentation, manuals, and compliance records
Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards
QualificationsMinimum 5 years of facilities or maintenance leadership experience in a multi-unit restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen systems, including HVAC and refrigeration
Experience managing service vendors across multiple locations
Experience overseeing maintenance budgets
Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Experience supporting restaurant openings or remodels preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
