LHH is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit real estate organization focused on affordable housing and community impact. Located in San Rafael, this organization offers a collaborative, purpose-driven environment where finance plays a critical role in supporting property performance and long-term sustainability.
We are seeking a Financial Analyst for a 3-month contract to support property-level financial operations, reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain cash flow projections for real estate properties
Reverse engineer project financials and reporting schedules to support decision-making
Update and manage operating cost templates across multiple properties
Extract and plug Yardi data into Excel-based reporting templates for leadership review
Analyze variances and provide insights on property performance and operating expenses
Support financial modeling and reporting tied to affordable housing portfolios
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or real estate finance
Strong Excel skills (modeling, lookups, data manipulation)
Experience working with property-level financials or real estate portfolios
Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management/accounting systems preferred
Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a fast-paced, project-based environment
Prior experience in nonprofit or affordable housing is a plus
