Senior Property Manager – Commercial Real Estate

Company Overview:
Our client, a private equity firm specializing in commercial real estate, is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of Class A office, retail, flex office / warehouse, and lite industrial buildings, ensuring exceptional operational performance, tenant satisfaction, and financial results. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong customer-service focus, deep knowledge of Class A office operations, and proven experience managing complex commercial assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of Class A office, retail, flex office / warehouse, and lite industrial buildings, ensuring premium standards for building systems, maintenance, and appearance.
- Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets; oversee financial reporting, rent collection, and expense control.
- Work with accounting to ensure the accuracy of the CAM / Tax reconciliation .
- Deliver outstanding tenant service, serving as the primary point of contact for tenants and supporting retention initiatives.
- Conduct regular tenant meetings, satisfaction surveys, and building events to support tenant retention strategies.
- Creating and maintaining digital designs to support leasing and tenant communications.
- Collaborate with leasing to support tours, lease renewals, expansions, and new tenant onboarding.
- Supervise and mentor on-site staff, including engineering teams.
- Oversee service contracts (janitorial, security, engineering, parking, etc.) and manage vendor performance.
- Manage capital projects, tenant improvements, and building upgrades from planning through completion.
- Ensure compliance with leases, building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards (LEED/WELL/ENERGY STAR).
- Lead emergency preparedness, incident response, and risk management activities.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of commercial property management experience, specializing in Commercial Real Estate.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- CPM, RPA, or similar professional designation strongly preferred.
- State of Ohio Sales Agent License is preferred.
- Strong understanding of building systems, lease administration, and Class A service expectations.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and capital projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and tenant-relations skills.
- Proficiency with property management software – MRI and Yardi preferred.
