Job Summary:

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee a maintenance team and manage all properties and technicians in your city. Your responsibilities include ensuring timely completion of maintenance requests within 48 hours, updating rental inspection lists, and collaborating with the property management department to enhance resident satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• High level of knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry
• Must pass background examinations
• 4+ years in a supervisor role
• 5+ years of maintenance background

Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of technicians to ensure all work orders are completed within 48 hours
• Completing all rental inspection lists within 30 days of receiving them to ensure all buildings remain in compliance
• Working directly with the property management team to understand the prioritization of work orders
• Lead and manage your team to always set them up for success
• Ensure strong communication among community managers, assistant managers, leasing staff, maintenance teams, work order management, and construction processes to streamline apartment unit turnovers and maintenance operations.

Skills:

• Proven ability to lead and manage a team successfully
• Extensive background in the maintenance field
• Wide knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry
• Problem solving and time management skills
• Expertise in repairing boiler zone valves, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and replacement as needed.
• Proficient in working with low-pressure boilers with a capacity under 1 million BTUs, demonstrating a deep understanding of their operation and maintenance requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of boiler systems, including components, controls, and safety measures.
• Familiarity with the latest technologies and advancements in boiler systems to ensure efficient and up-to-date maintenance practices.
• Strong attention to detail in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing issues related to boiler zone valves and low-pressure boilers.

Compensation:

• $25 -$28 per hour, paid weekly via direct deposit.
• Monthly bonuses based on performance metrics.
