Turn your multifamily or commercial real estate expertise into a high-earning sales career. We are seeking a Business Development Manager who intimately understands the local San Diego property management market. In this role, you will leave property operations behind and focus entirely on helping other management companies solve their biggest headache: finding great talent. You will use your industry insider knowledge to pitch, win, and manage staffing accounts across the region. Key Responsibilities Grow the San Diego Portfolio: Hunt and secure new staffing contracts with regional property management companies, ownership groups, and asset managers across San Diego County. Leverage Your Network: Utilize your existing local real estate connections and relationships to open doors and build a robust sales pipeline. Consultative Selling: Speak peer-to-peer with Property Managers and Regional Directors to understand their staffing pain points (maintenance, leasing, management) and present our solutions. Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for your won accounts, ensuring our recruiting team delivers the quality of candidates you would hire yourself. Outbound Prospecting: Conduct daily phone outreach, digital prospecting, and occasional strategic local drop-ins to decision-makers. What We Are Looking For Industry Insider: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, or Senior Leasing Consultant in the San Diego market. The "Hunter" Mentality: A strong desire to pivot into an outbound B2B sales role, with a drive to self-generate leads and cold call. Local Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of San Diego property operations, leasing cycles, and regional talent challenges. Resilience: Ability to thrive in the high-rejection, high-reward nature of corporate staffing sales. Networker: Active involvement (or existing familiarity) with the Southern California Rental Housing Association (SCRHA) or local BOMA/IREM chapters is highly preferred.
