Senior Project Architect / Senior Project Designer

Hutteball + Oremus Architecture is seeking a senior project architect or project designer with a minimum of 15 years experience to join our office in Kirkland, WA.

Hutteball + Oremus Architecture specializes in K-12 architecture and is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our collaborative studio environment. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals committed to the creation of meaningful architecture.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

• 15+ years full time experience in an architectural office.
• Arch (or equivalent) accredited degree.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team to generate thoughtful solutions to architectural problems and prepare design and construction documents.
• Manage a project through all phases from Feasibility through Construction Administration.
• Facilitate user and owner meetings to identify needs and set and manage project goals.
• K-12 Educational Design Experience required.
• Revit and AutoCAD proficiency required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Comfortable communicating with clients/consultants.
• Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Desire to mentor coworkers and willingness to learn.

Starting annual salary range is targeted at the Senior Project Architect level ($125,000 - $145,000) depending on experience and qualifications.
