Our team is partnering with a well-established residential real estate management organization to hire a Property Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the full operations of one or more apartment communities, ensuring strong financial performance, operational efficiency, and an exceptional resident experience. The ideal candidate brings leadership expertise, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage both people and property performance in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
The Property Manager will lead day-to-day operations of assigned communities while serving as the primary point of contact for residents, site staff, and ownership stakeholders. This position ensures the property operates efficiently, remains compliant with all applicable regulations, and meets financial goals.

• Supervise and lead all on-site staff, including leasing, maintenance, and grounds personnel
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing and resolving resident concerns in a timely, professional manner
• Execute marketing strategies to maintain strong occupancy, including outreach to local businesses and corporate partners
• Ensure compliance with company policies as well as federal, state, and local housing and employment regulations (including affordable housing programs when applicable)
• Prepare financial reports, owner reports, and annual operating budgets
• Manage and adhere to property budgets; communicate proactively regarding unexpected expenses
• Oversee emergency response and resolution, including after-hours situations as needed
• Enforce community policies and lease terms, including issuing violations, non-renewals, and eviction notices when necessary
• Plan and support community engagement initiatives and resident events
• Maintain regular communication with internal leadership and ownership stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices
• Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned by leadership

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience managing residential communities with 100+ units within a professional property management environment
• 4+ years of supervisory experience leading and developing teams
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across diverse groups
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure
• Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance
• Proficiency with property management systems and general technology platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with tax credit and Section 8 (affordable housing) programs
• Experience using Yardi or similar property management software
• Demonstrated success in marketing residential communities and driving occupancy
• Experience building partnerships within local business communities
