We are seeking an Associate (1-2 years of experience) to join our Construction Litigation and Real Estate practice in either our Lake Success or Brooklyn office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain hands-on experience working closely with experienced practitioners on a broad range of construction and real estate disputes, as well as transactional matters.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all phases of construction litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation
• Draft and respond to discovery demands, including document requests, interrogatories, and deposition-related materials
• Support attorneys in handling disputes involving construction defects, delays, contract claims, and related matters
• Conduct due diligence, including review of title reports, surveys, and related documents
• Participate in real estate financing transactions representing borrowers and lenders
• Assist in drafting and reviewing construction access agreements and handling matters related to RPAPL 881 proceedings
• Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel
• Participate in court appearances, conferences, and mediations as necessary
• Support real estate transactions and related matters as needed

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar (or pending admission)
• 1-2 years of experience in commercial real estate or a related litigation practice
• Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience
