Job Summary

Established local PropertyManagement Company is looking for a Regional Property Supervisor with a minimumof 5 years hands on experience in the field to be responsible for theoperations of a portion of our portfolio. This highly important position will overseethe operations of multiple properties, projects, and staff. We are looking fora self-starter with strong leadership skills who enjoys training, mentoring andworking with people. Attention to detail, follow-up, strong verbal and writtencommunication skills are essential to the job. Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain a high performing team of site staff members through the creation of a positive work environment, recognition of team effort and support of all employees.
  • Formulate and manage an annual operating budget for every property in the managed portfolio.
  • Track and analyze actual operations in relation to budget.
  • Regularly visit all managed properties and ensure that quality control standards are met and, hopefully, exceeded.
  • Ensure properties are maintained to a high standard and maintenance staff is not only handling necessary repairs but are also undertaking pro-active measures and preventative maintenance.
  • Demonstrate ability to deal with resident and vendor issues that rise beyond the expertise of site staff.
  • Gather proposals, with assistance from site staff, and recommend for approval: repair, operating and maintenance contracts.
  • Ensure consistent on site staff compliance with company policies, procedures and industry regulations (Fair Housing, OSHA, city ordinances, etc.)
  • Endeavour to create a positive living environment for all residents and translate that into strong resident retention and a positive on-line reputation for all properties in the portfolio.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Supervisory Experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel & Word
  • Customer service oriented
  • Experience with operating budgets and financial reporting

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in multifamily property management.
  • State of Arizona Real Estate license, or on path to acquire it.
  • High school diploma required.
