This person will have a minimum of five (5) years prior relevant experience in the office space planning and design field, have a keen understanding of Building Ownerships perspectives, and will possess exceptionally strong communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to thrive in a high volume, fast-paced work environment where attention to detail and compressed turn-around times are highly valued. SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assist Douglas Emmett's office leasing and marketing team to successfully consummate lease transactions with new tenants. Prepare marketing materials including as-built plans, hypothetical space plans and furniture layouts. Design pre-built "spec-suites" for certain vacant spaces, including preparation of CD's, finish specs, etc. Accurately survey and document existing office suite inventory, including partition layouts, reflected ceiling plans, mechanical/electrical, etc. Meet with prospective end users and prepare fit-plans and/or space plans based upon tenant's programming requirements, and subject to Building Ownership's directions. Prepare, monitor and maintain project status reports. Prepare full Construction Documents, coordinate plan checks, and oversee construction administration.
