Some of the duties include: Monitoring the occupancy levels of the portfolio and manage the staff to meet the owner's objectives. Prepare monthly accounting/operating statements for the owners. Resolve resident concerns and provide the highest level of customer service. Rent collections, three day notices, eviction process. Marketing and advertising plans to maintain occupancy. Resident retention programs and lease renewals. Creatively finding ways to increase the overall value of each asset. Manage the maintenance staff and turn schedule. Property inspections and inspection reports. Maintain resident files, rent deposits, resident letters. The candidate will have at least five years experience of being a property manager. Leasing, bookkeeping and marketing skills are a must. Knowledge of the software Tennant Pro is very valuable. Organization and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal skills. Computer savvy including Microsoft programs and internet research. Professional attitude and appearance. The ability to travel throughout San Diego County with reliable transportation. Flexibility to work some weekend and evenings as needed. CPM certificate or degree preferred. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
